A model, Richa Dhamala and her 5 friends were arrested for conspiring to abduct and kill her stepmother.It has also been revealed that the kidnap-attempt was to avenge a murder two years ago. "The kidnap plan was foiled after the three kidnappers told Mamata Ghimire, a resident of Gatthaghar, that they would kidnap her and not murder her,” said DSP Shyam Adhikari, spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Bhaktapur. The model, who has appeared in a number of music videos, is arrested by the police at Bhaktapur with her boyfriend Ashaman Tamang on Friday. In a report, Richa and her sister Liza Dhamala were willing to pay Rs. 1.5 million to the killer. The police says that the plan of Liza and Richa was made 3 months earlier.
